My First Post | Setting the Bar

My First Post | Setting the Bar

Hi everyone, this is my first of many posts. Last week I was in Los Angeles on my social media training tour and had the opportunity to gain a first-hand experience of driving in rush hour traffic. I took that opportunity in traffic to listen to a few podcasts, I was inspired by Navid Moazzaz’s Lifestyle Architect interview with Greg Hickman of the Leaving Corporate podcast…

The podcast really inspired me to put the hammer down and record my thoughts about my journey into writing; put my wealth of knowledge about social media out there to the masses. So here I am, typing my first post… it’s time to make a difference in the world.

My blog will be a platform to tell my story, along with those like me who have made the transition from the Military and rejoined the human race.  My efforts will be a success if I can just inspire just one to become better- any more will be a bonus!

If you are taking the time to read this, understand that I am new to writing blogs- while this post may not be the best in the world, it is the first of many and this is my start.

I have been incredibly blessed both personally and professionally; this is my opportunity to tell others how I did it so they can too. My journey hasn’t been easy, I plan to share with all of you how I differentiated myself among the many; I’ll share some of the mistakes I made along the way so you don’t have to make them too.

Look for the following in the next year:

  • Insightful blog posts about my family, entrepreneurship, and social media
  • A podcast dedicated to transitioning veterans.
  • Details about my transition, including my successes and failures.

I’m interested in your thoughts in the comments below.
